DALLAS, TX – Akili was recognized as one of the Dallas-Fort Worth Top 100 Places to Work by the Dallas Morning News. For its second year in the program, Akili ranked 14th in the Small Company category.
Made up of 100 companies, the Top 100 Places to Work was designed to identify, recognize and honor the top places of employment in the DFW area. Companies across DFW entered the employee survey process to determine the Top Places to Work for the Small, Medium Size and Large company categories. With 60,501 entries for 2020, it was proven that not just any organization could enter and place.
The ranking reflects Akili’s high employee satisfaction, unmatched culture and strong teamwork, to name a few, that especially came into play this year.
“This is the first time a lot of our young employees have seen a pullback of the economy, a global pandemic and how it negatively affected our company,” said CEO Shiek Shah. “But instead of complaining, everyone jumped in and started helping each other just to ensure that everyone survived.”
Akili fosters a distinct culture of investing in its employees and developing an environment that values them as individuals, provides the support of a team and enables employees to pursue their career goals without restraint. Akili’s vision is to create a work environment that gives employees the opportunity, encouragement, and recognition they need to truly excel at what they do.
“We focus on solving real problems for organizations and individuals, not just billing hours or checking off projects,” said one Akili employee.
